All-weather legumes!
03/22/2022Most of us associate legumes with the cold of winter. Thus, we often exclude them from our summer diet, depriving our body of the richness of their important nutrients.
But!!
Apart from consuming them in the form of warm winter soups, there are other ways to cook them in order to include them in our summer diet!
The easiest way is to consume them in the form of a salad which can, however, be consumed also as a main dish!
Here is an idea:
Boil medium white beans or black beans in plenty of salted water, so that they soften. After letting them cool and draining them, put them on a plate or bowl and add onion slices, chopped parsley, oil, a little lemon for anyone who loves it, salt and pepper!
Ready!
